Why is Cult of the Lamb laggy in some parts of the game?

When a new day starts, the whole game freezes for a few seconds. There are some framedrops in fights and the "red orbs" that fill your gauge to use curses move as choppy as that pokémon in the first trailer for Pokémon Arceus. I don't get why is the game lagging so badly on a PS5?

Do you only experience it on this game?
You could try rebuilding the database or reinstalling the game to see if it resolves the issue.

Sounds like performance issues on all platforms, so lack of optimisation in the main code base. Wait for updates I guess.

It occured to me too, must be game fault, need some stuff ironed out by patches
