There are a few reason that I downgraded.

First first and most obvious reason is because I wanted to make a video tutorial on how to do it that you can see on my channel by clicking in my sig.

The second reason is because I didn't want to get the update nag that I would inevitably get if I had to keep connecting to the internet to get to Gateway mode. I could just unlink the sys and emuNAND and then put in dummy wifi info under sysNAND and now I'm never worried about the update.

The third reason is because I don't wanna be dependent on network access to connect. 9.2 Gateway makes the system less portable.

The fourth reason is because it was pretty easy and I like messing with electronics!

Not having to use a wifi and internet connection or a mirror of go gateway is enough for me to downgrade to 4.5

I backed up sysnand and downgraded from 9.2 to 4.5 and backed up a couple carts to SD. All this w/o a gateway. So awesome, I decided to buy one!

Initially, I had a hard time getting the web exploit to load: it took a few tries. The profile exploit is MUCH more convenient. But then, I do not have a lot invested in eShop or 4.5+ game saves.

I think it will be easier to shoot Yuga again than figure out how to convert my Zelda gamesave, LOL.
