Sometimes it will sometimes it won't it's installed to nand and I am using tiramisu but it will just get stuck in the boot menu

The problem is Tiramisu HBL. It breaks some stuff,

You first should install the channel version of HBL (if haven't done it yet), then you have to remove the default HBL provided by Tiramisu from your SD:
Code:
wiiu/environments/tiramisu/modules/setup/50_hbl_installer.rpx

RetroArch Launcher and other forwarders should work fine again.

Thx so I don't need to homebrew launcher folder that's on my SD card then?

Yes, you don't need it anymore after you install the channel version. You can launch it directly from the Wii U menu just like any other forwarder, it has a copy of the homebrew_launcher.rpx inside the channel.

Thank you I will definitely be doing that

Ohhh my goodness thank you NinStar! You just saved me and hopefully others so much grief. I'd been struggling to get a few of my channel forwarders working and coming up empty.

@NinStar PLEASE make a guide for this either video or text format I like video but PLEASE I and so many others will like both besides there is so much info left out of this thread

thanks

I mean, you only have to do the two steps I mentioned, it is very straightforward

If you have a forwarder installed I assume you know how to install the HBL version I mentioned directly on the Wii U menu.

I don't have the forwarder... sorry I tired for days to get my modded WiiU to work and nothing but although the vwii was working this is like day 5 I getting sick of this

...what do you mean?
I don't have any forwarders

Just Retroarch or the actual Tiramisu? If it's just Retroarch, just go into miimaker and launch it from there if you're having issue with the forwarder.
no I go into Mii maker and I can't load anything Retro arch HB store you name it, it won't load it pretty much freeze's trying to load anything it shows a black screen BUT my WiiU does not turn off. The VWii works awesome, everything but loading Project+ a super smash bros brawl romhack it just boots into my super smash bros brawl disc that I have put inside the WiiU I was told that your supposed to do that for piracy reasons so I did

...try reinstalling tiramisu.

Are the Wii U games (from nusspli or whatever) work fine too and the issue is just the HB apps?

Anyway update Tiramisu to the lastest version. Delete the HB apps that don't work from the sd card, get the newest version for them and put them back on the card. If everything is in the right place, there's no reason why you would get the black screen. That or the sd card is kaput.

I don't care about the vWii side. So, no need to overly explain it.

I have tried nusspli but it crashed my WiiU it won't load anything since. It could be a virus BUT although I got that software from their offical github page but my system is not bricked I can still turn on the WiiU VWii the all the VWii stuff (not including project+) everything but the any of the software in the homebrew channel which sometimes works but when it does not it's says it's because of the Playload.elf but I reinstall it and again it sometimes works when I reinstall it and I don't know why

Wait, the Wii U won't load into the home menu at all? You're not answering clearly. Are the Wii U games work?
If it threw payload.elf error at you then it's probably the sd card tbh.

it's a playload error and the WiiU games from just the WiiU homebrew channel are not working

So let's get this straight.
The console boots up fine, right?
Is eveything upto date?
The wii u games that you downloaded either from Nusspli, wiiudownloader or USB helper are not working, right?
The HB apps from miimaker are not working at all, but you can still go into the Hb launcher and see all the apps there, right?
Have you tried a different SD card?

Also. You got the payload.elf error. There's no "playload".

Did you follow this: https://wiiu.hacks.guide/#/ when you install Tiramisu for the first time?
