Hardware Why does my switch sometimes not wake up from sleep mode

This happened 4 times before. i would leave my switch in sleep mode and after a while when i wanted to play there was no response no black screen nothing at all. it was as if the console was shut off. even pressing the power button did nothing but when i kept pressing the power button for 12 seconds the switch rebooted normaly.
this scares me alot. can someone explain why it happens.
i use hekate 4.8 and atmosphere 0.8.4

I don't know, I know there's always an inherent risk with modding it, but it's hard to say

What are you doing on the Switch BEFORE putting it into Sleep Mode? Are you on the Home Screen? Are you in the middle of a game? Are you in RetroArch?
