I disagree with companies get the better of you when you buy crap, because it's your fault if you decide to waste a bunch of money on something you don't even know about. I extensively read reviews, yet still $150+ tax for just 3 Wii games that I got only 20 hours of playtime from two (SMG and MP3) ultimately makes me still feel cheated. My point is, barely any games are really worth the cost, and maybe I wouldn't have considered pirating stuff like DS games if they were cheaper; I haven't pirated Wii games yet, but nowadays, $40 US is a LOT for stuff like DS.
I never thought of pirating PS2 because games on it are WORTHWHILE, unlike the Wii. FFX for $10 for example, I could get 3 playthroughs out of it in a month and still enjoy it, while many Wii games are too easy to have any good replay value. Let's see here...if I can get over 50 hours out of any PS2 game I play that's 10$ x 50 hours x 5 games = 250 hours for $50, while I get around 20 out of SMG...so PS2 games, mainly RPGs (mostly what I play), may have 12.5 times the value, which is pretty good.
