Well.. I always been puzzle about that.
There are ton of Rom site around. and very easy to find.

People ask for roms because they are too lazy to look for themselves. This is especially the case when a game just came out, because it's hard for them to find. When I said I had the Dragon Quest V rom I got about 5 PMs asking me where I got it.

they don't know how to search on there own and think someone is go to break the forum rules for them.

i went against the rules one time by mistake i forgot that i'm not allow to give away rom sites when i first joined and i gave one.before i got a chance to edit i got modded.

not hard to wait a few days for it to be easier to find. only takes about 10 mins on google when its just released anyway. people who ask are just lazy

fixed. most of the people askin are just spoiled little fuckheads

All of the above.
They don't know where to get it, and they're too lazy to google or read the forum rules.

If this were a voting topic, which it isn't, I'd vote yes for roms on gbatemp.

Yes i hate that aswell, i mean it takes only a little time for one to read the rules, and they still don't bother, and they have obviously haven't heard of search engines

Is it acceptable to use this site to point it out?

I hope so, considering I just linked to it on the previous page

I guess in a way you could consider google a ROM site
yeah, this is technically endorsing piracy on the boards.......
