Politics and AI shitposting, which is why I gave up using Twitter now. Plus the majority of folks who use it are 40-50 year old boomer dads, compared to the rest who instead resort to BlueSky after Elon bought out the company.
I honestly couldnt get adapted to bluesky plus the fact that its basically a zombie platform

Locking posts behind an account. Lots of companies only use twitter for updates, that was fine before, don't care about it, don't make an account, but you can still see announcements or similar.

Then suddenly you need an account to try and strongarm people who don't care about what idiots are talking about on twitter, but still want to see official updates, announcements and similar to make one.

Luckily you can use nitter or similar to carry on as you were, but it's extra hassle, so that's why I don't like it.

As in what?
As in what? It's a cesspool, aided by the fact that many people who very much dislike the degenerate owner have left, thus increasing the percentage of active users who ARE degenerates themselves. I don't see why one would want to "get adapted to it".

As in what?
As in, half of the human users (the very very few actual active human users, the majority are bots) are engagement farms posting political ragebait from fake profiles to make money off monetization. As the recent account location fiasco has shown.

I guess my experience is now invalid
Have you heard of sampling bias? Your experience is not invalid, it's just not universal.

You seem to want someone to validate your choice in social media. This hardly seems useful. You're free to use whatever you want, and you might carve out a small space to separate your bubble from the underlying bullshit - but you won't, really, and the fact that you're choosing to use it is by no means a neutral choice.

I just wanted to hear other people's viewpoints

@Xdqwerty I think twatter is amazing. happy?

Did you know most of the far right big accounts in twatter are run by people in countries to build up hate in other countries, which have nothing to do with that country in the first place? For example. All these MAGA accounts with half millions of followers are based in Pakistan, Bangladesh or Nigeria. AKA Russian paid.

You're from Venezuela right, twatter is being used to justify invading Venezuela. AKA brainwashing.
