Homebrew Why can't we use pirated DSiWare for boot9strap?

I'm just wondering. If we were to install a ticket, then get it from the eShop, would that make a difference? Or do you absolutely, 100%, have to buy the DSiWare?

Because Nintendo servers check if you have the license when transferring.

If you don't have CFW, you can't install or launch unsigned titles

If you have CFW, you have much better options for raw nand writing than DSiware exploits
