Was listening to The Chain just yesterday. I love a lot of the top bands like Zeppelin, CCR, Eagles, ZZ Top, Boston, The Guess Who, Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd.. the list goes on and on. It's a whole mix of styles. Nothing beats singing along while cruising down a lonely highway.

I like Fleetwood Mac. Like with any band, some albums are better than others. The Nicks/Buckingham stuff is all good, and "Rumours" might be the best sounding (recording/engineering) album I've ever heard. But musically, I prefer the earlier, Bob Welch era.

Fleetwood Mac was a great band. I mostly remember the 70's albums (Fleetwood Mac, Rumours and Tusk), with Buckingham and Nicks in the band. And no matter how you look at it, Stevie Nicks was a babe in the 70's. Just look at her on the back cover of Rumours (she's in the center of the pic).

I saw them live when they got back together back in 2015. It was pretty great. Lots of younger folks mingling with older folks. Lindsey Buckingham was doing an intro to one of the songs and the strings broke. He had to get a new guitar and start over. Glad i got to see all of them live while they were still alive.

Never knew a British and American band could make such incredible music. I mean part of that was directly related to the turbulent times, but by God did they channel their creative energy to the absolute maximum. Mick & Stevie take a bow!
