im not sure about that , i mean if nintendo stays on this lame path it is on and makes this stupid wii-u the way they announced it at e3 than no,because there wont be a 3d screen
because the new console is the wii-u and its not due out for like 2 years and it will certainly last more than 3 or 4 years and no 3d screen
maybe if they had included a 3ds like screen in that monstrosity of a controller they could have done that ,they should have ,and 2 cameras,not just 1, so that you could do 3d video chat from the controller
but what they reallu should have done is scrapped that abomination alltogether ,i mean if they wanted to have games that incorporater that sort o thing they could of just had it have 3ds connectivity , by the time it comes out they will already have a large installed 3ds userbase, and i hear they want to charge 450 for thew wii-u, they could have 250 for the wii-u and drop the 3ds price to 200 when it launches ,then there you go same price and you get 2 consoles and the same functionality
and they could come out with a new 3ds hardware iteration,which they are going to do anyways,one that have the screen able to fold and have only 1 screen showing when it is folded closed,like those netbook/tablet pc's where the screen swivels around and it shuts to forn a tablet from a netbook ,they could make the next 3ds do that and fold so that it would look like and be able to perform the same functions as this purposed wii-u controller ,i mean it has all the hardware that the wii-u controller has already and more
