Do you act different on the net in contrast to what you do in real life? This is a question most have been asking about (Well, on other forums anyway). I mean, Do you think you should act yourself on the internet or would you rather develop a new persona to keep you anonimality?

I'm just always weary on things on the internet, and i'm usually careful at who my friends are, just in case one wants to contact me. Better safer than sorry =3

Any views on this?

I'm extremely shy in real life, as in, I cant even talk to/aproach strangers.

But on the internet, I like to think i'm fairly talkative and not very withdrawn.

It's easier when i'm not talking to people face-to-face.

I see that from your point, Wouldn't internet dating be difficult? You find it easy to speak to them online but as soon as you meet them for coffee, the awkward silence makes it's debut =/

And I actually have a gf, but she approached *me* at a party (she was a friend of a friend of a friend like).

So after the initial awkward silence, we got talking, and yeah. :]

I'm not so much shy, more like I can never think up of conversation starters, even around my friends sometimes...

I'm more patient with people IRL and I think I'm shyer but more a smartass online.
I also talk a lot more IRL since I rather hate typing.

I'm not shy, but I don't like to socialize in RL unless I have to.
Forums are so much better imo, you post when you feel like it. You enter discussions you want to participate in and you just turn the page off when you don't feel like talking (writing).

In RL if someone approaches you and wants to have some random topic discussion.. well it's fun occasionally. But most of the time it's pretty boring and you can't
simply just show them the finger and tell them to go bother someone else since it's rude.
Exceptions are girls.. then all topics are interesting

im not that shy in real life. I'm alot more foolish on forums than in real life though. I'm good in conversations, I can keep them going, though not with some I like. they can be hot (GIRLS), but if I dont like them, I'm fine around them.

anonymity rulz, I usually can't talk to girls unless I'm used to being around a certain girl for extended periods of time; such as my classmates otherwise I tend to stay OUT and let my friends talk it out while I answer any questions raised to me. Here I'll talk to anyone.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
