Hacking WHL ISO?

It's possible to create an ISO (with TRUCHA) that loads the WiiHL ??
Or some simple way (without Zelda exploit) to run homebrew, using only the WiiMote and without installing WADs or any other code into Wii NAND memory???

I've tried to create a trucha signed disc with the WiiHL-5's DOL but it doesn't load...
The front SD loader (miniloader) trucha disk works fine, but still needs the GameCube controller...

There's no method to avoid the NAND when you install not firmed code.

Yeah... I've wanted this for awhile as well. I have asked before but can't figure out how to properly get the WiiHL to boot from a trucha disc. If you could create one, that would be awesome

if you have the .dol file of wiihl, you can replace the boot.dol in the iso with that dol, and then it boots.
i did that with that first homebrew loader, that very basic one, and it worked

if someone can provide me an iso with the boot.dol inside and the iso shouldn't be big (+- 10mb), i can do it for you

ps: i have the dol file here, so it's available for download

i modified the installer iso of the homebrewchannel, so it has that banner, but when you press start, it'll start the wii hl instead of the installer

currently saving the iso (damn wiiscrubber is slow)

I made the same thing with the Bully ISO (injected the WiiHL-5.dol into the main.dol with Trucha) but Wii freezes when I run the disk...

just replace the main.dol in the Wii_Channel_Remover ISO with boot.dol of WiiHL 0.5
and make it auto boot(it run itself after inserting the disc)
and it well great, no need to use the Twilight Hack(no more horsing around...hehe)

nothing change in the message board
and I think it doesn't get recorded in the log

Many people still have a little of distrust in installing programs that leave traces.
Nobody finds what does not exist. (Nintendo too)

So... I made it...

Ripped bully -> bully.iso
Loaded Wii_Channel_Remover_USA.iso with wiiscrubber v1.2 and extracted the following files:apploader.bin and bi2.bin
Opened bully.iso with wiiscrubber and replaced the files (apploader.bin and bi2.bin) on the second partition with the extracted ones
Replaced the main.dol with the WiiHL-5 one (.DOL)
Burned it... and worked...

into the day's accomplishments, it shows "Bully"...
