hi i have pokemon white version & i was planning on getting white 2 or black 2.
most likely was white 2 because of me having white 1, but now black 2 seems to be the one i'm gonna get.
but does it matter tho which one i get?
are there some key differences in the games? or is there something in white 1 that i need in white 2?
& other way around for black 1 & 2?

also does or has owning the previous version, white or black affected which one you purchased or pre-orderd?

its intended for people to get the sequel to what they have.
I mean, in Black you got a Reshiram. Now in Black2 you get a Zekrom to turn Kyurem into Black Kyurem, since its a continuation of the same story and the Reshiram was already taken by the first hero. Obviously you can then trade over your Reshiram to turn Kyurem into White Kyurem too.

There is also the Unova Link features that are different...but you dont get them all in either, and have to finish the game to unlock them, after which they can be given to anyone else, or obtained from someone who has ones you dont get.

The only difference in the 2 games is the pokemon in it. Im going with Black 2 since black kyurem is epic :)

Except for version different areas and locations.... and access to different Unova Link keys.

Also, you can have either Kyurem in both versions.
Its just that you get Reshiram in White2, which you can let Kyurem absorb to turn white-forme, but don't get a Zekrom. If you had White1 before though, you caught a Zekrom there, which you can tarde over and use to change Kyurem to black-forme too.

Im probably not going to get either, as i think that GameFreak has run out of ideas and that B/W are trash.

hmmm..i played white version because i love zekrom
so..the White 2 version i can catch black Kyurem ?
or fight him , and catch the fire Kyurem ?

White: Zekrom, Kyurem
Whtie2: Reshiram, Kyurem
Its so you get both mascots.

To make Kyure turn into its Black-forme, you need a Zekrom in your party. The one from White1 works too.

so,if i transfer my old zekrom to the new game , i will get black Kyurem ? right ?

The games were designed in a way that it directly continues and does not overlap - Opelucid City/White Forest/Black City etc.

In White, you can get Zekrom. In White 2, it's designed for you to get the other Reshiram. Vice versa.

I got White because I like Zekrom, and White 2 because (apparently I'm one of the only few) I like White Kyurem very much. So yeah, I'm going to go by that rule. My friend has Black 2, so he can transfer the challenge mode to me. White 2 + Challenge Mode = epicness.

As for the English version, I'll likely be going for Black 2. Since I already did that for the original Black version (my White was Japanese).

Exactly.
It doesnt matter what game you have, you just need a Kyurem, a Zekrom, and the key item DNA Splicer.
You can have
Kyurem
Reshiram
Zekrom
in your team, then let Kyurem absorb Reshiram and turn into White Kyurem for 6 minutes, then change it back, and let it absorb Zekrom, making him Black Kyurem until you seperate them again. Either game. Any Zekrom, from wifi or your old game etc.

Version does not prevent you from Kyurem absorbing the colour you want. It just doesn't give you the dragon that you already caught last time
