ROM Hack Which tool do I need to make game not display something? (DQ9)

Hello folks!

I need to find a way to disable clouds when flying with Starflight Express.
My first idea was to find tiles that correspond to clouds (using Crystal Tile 2) and make them transparent.
Then I found out they are 3D rendered, so that's not an option.
Any ideas?

If they are indeed 3D-rendered, then there still has to be a texture corresponding to them, unless they're flat-shaded. I'm not familiar with the game, so I can't really tell.

So I used DSBuff to break apart the ROM, but have no idea what now.
I can see many .ambl and .ambj files in 'map' subfolder. What can I open them with?
