Which Star Trek is best?

In my opinion, it was the 1990s Trek that was the best: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager. Which Star Trek do you think is best?

Ds9 is my favorite. Starts off slow though.

I love the original series as well. it's my second favorite behind ds9. my mom and I watch it 6 nights a week on H&I. I've thought about buying one of their shirts for $20+$7 shipping. it's one of spock, I think saying something is illogical. lol, not a bad price really.

The Digital "remastered" Version from the Original Series is very good and ok for me.
But I am still in Love with the real original Version.

I like the original without the added special effects. even with the added effects, it looks kinda cheesy. haha

strange that it mentions james doohan. I don't think scotty is mentioned in the american version at the beginning.

I actually met scotty at my first convention. he had lost a lot of weight. it was only a few years before he died. I think doohan and bones were the oldest, both born in 1920. doohan actually got shot 5 times in ww2 and still lived.

The last Time,when Doohan was in TV in Germany/Austria was during the Promotion of "Star Trek VI - Undiscovered Country.
It was a time,when STAR TREK finally becomes popular to all Groups of People in Germany/Austria.
But the TV Stations/Interviewers were really dumb and clumsy and always very poorly informed and prepared for Interviews ... very embarrassing ....

So,in a german Talkshow,the Talkmaster explained the Klingon Language and that Marc Okrand was the Inventor of it.......Doohan gets angry and correct him that he (Doohan) was the One.It was really very,very awkward...

Real Fans knows the real Story - Doohan "invents" it and Okrand made a Language of it in the 80s.....

Such Things happened very often in Germany/Austria TV Shows........

I remember that. Doohan made the way it sounded or something, then someone else created the grammar and whatnot for the language. Doohan also did several of the alien voices in the original series and animated series. you can tell it's him based on the voice a lot of the time. haha

now, I don't know Klingon, but I often wonder if newer shows/episodes are correct with what they're saying or if it's just madeup. I've heard that they try to be correct, since a lot of trek fans will point out when star trek screws something up.

Voyager is to Trek as Megaforce is to Power Rangers. It tried too hard to be like "best Trek" (not my opinion /TNG). Even worse, Janeway ends the series with an act of genocide and gets a damn admiral position afterwards. Seriously, WTF?! BTW that's just the icing on the cake.

TNG and DS9, but my favorite movie will always be ST6:The Undiscovered Country. I also feel like it's more relevant today than ever in my entire life.
