Which is better, VC Injects or Emulator like mGBA or Retroarch on n3DS?
In terms of speed, visuals, and what not.

personally from my experience, retroach emulators have always run faster than mgba, but that is on o3ds, both as installed .cia files. However, vc injects will be probably the best, just dont expect it to be super simple like an emulator.

Vc injects are the best in all situations and are relatively simple to generate/convert

- No lag at all
- Full speed
- You need to install VC to sysNAND, or if you are using emuNAND, install to both sysNAND anh emuNAND.

Emulator:
- Very low FPS.

So you should use VC

OK thanks everyone! I have CFW Luma3DS. I guess I should be using VC Inject about all the time I can.

certain games have had save issues, so make sure you get the right version of those games (like pokemon)

Yeah, I ran into that problem already with VC and Pokemon. Luckily, I found out how to fix it.

You should use emulators only with games that are not supported by VC, like Wario ware twisted, which twisto controls can only be run with mgba (but not at a full speed sadly)

Yeah, I ran into that problem already with VC and Pokemon. Luckily, I found out how to fix it.

yea i just use retroarch gpsp since it gives me full speed on pokemon games and saves work just fine.

Heck, get both! Install the retroarch cias, and put them in a folder on your homescreen, no clutter, and guaranteed performance.
