I don't know if this is a 'game request,' but we need to ditch this friend code garbage and attempt to go a bit more mmo. Not necessarily requiring the 'rpg' at the end or anything, but give us the feeling somebody else is there playing with us. More games with chatrooms, and once those chatrooms go graphical with avatars maybe even get voice support, I think that's a fair start. I don't think any of us have made new friends online with DS, and nintendo multiplayer seems aimed at keeping us as far apart as possible.
Once we're allowed to actually interact with more players, maybe somebody will find some creative ways to get us all playing at once.
