I've been working on a homebrew project for awhile now, and I'd like to make a proper cartridge for it. I already have a blank case that I can use to hold it, I just need a flash card.

I was wondering which cards are able to autoboot a specific rom. Ideally I'd like the flashcart to work identically to a real cartridge, but I doubt that'll be possible.

I already own a Supercard DSOne, but it doesn't seem to support any such option.

Thank you very much for your help! :)

EDIT: This is a project for my university's honors program. I won't be selling the cartridge, I'd just like to make it look nice and professional. :)

EDIT 2: I think I'll be getting the AK2i. Thank you everyone for the help!

As said above, the AK2i can autoboot any .NDS file. However, it can be canceled by holding the B button. But having no adapter with the MicroSD/nothing else on it would allow you to give it to a friend or (not advised) sell it.
some of the older flash carts that do not use SD cards to store data on can do this but only if you have that one rom on it. Like the Flash 2 Advance Pro, but these are gba carts. that is about as close as you can get to the function of a real cart, as far as I know. I dont think any nds cards do this, but you can always use a passme adapter which lets you run nds roms off gba carts if you have an older NDS

You can yes, but you must DLDI patch the NDS file first
Using this patcher : http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/downloads/dlditool-win32-gui.zip
And for a DSTWO: http://filetrip.net/f11763-SuperCard-DSTWO-DLDI-1-0.html
For other carts just search on filetrip.

(Can't add more than one link here so you'll need to copy paste the links ;) )
