Looking to replace my M3 Real, was trying to decide between either an R4 (And using the Wood Firmware) or an Acekard 2i.

Im namely interested in Wii compatability/connectivity, but also in ease of use and compatability with new releases (Like Anti Piracy and such)

Thanks for any help

You mention the R4 and Acekard 2i.

Remember the R4 doesn't work on the DSi or DSi XL, and can only use MicroSD cards upto 2GB. Both can play most of the recent releases, and further updates to both are expected. Neither have advanced features such as Real Time Save.

The compability of both is similar, and both can connect to the Wii. You should be able to use your existing saves too.

If you buy the R4, ShopTemp have one which they guarentee will be compatible with Wood. There are so many R4's out there, you need the 1:1 clone for Wood. They have the Acekard 2i, If you have a DSi you will need to update teh firmware which requires the use of a DS Lite or DS Phat. If You don't have either of these, they can preupdate them for 1.4 if you Choose the premium update + flashing service when you add it to the cart.

If you want more information, I have a guide for both carts in my sig.

if the rom compability is good on dstwo i would buy one

I never get tired telling this to people who never read the stickies.
ACEKAARD 2i- Moderately affordable, Best with AKAIO, SDHC compatible
SUPERCAARD DS2-Has almost everything you need, DSi compatible, Gree cheat, RTS, RTG, SDHC compatible
R4-Cheaper, Great support with WOOD R4, NO SDHC

And btw, did you even read or research about other topics?
