I scanned through the pages on M3 Sakura and it seems to be pretty good? Could anyone give me a summary of what's going on with M3 Sakura? I know only the Japanese version is out atm and that people are cracking it and applying an English skin, but that's about it. I also know that M3 Sakura is in beta stage and that it's way better than M3 Real, but that's it.

So...M3 Sakura, SuperCard DS, or AceKard 2? I'm sorry guys, but I know I'm being a nuisance and annoying and stuff. Please forgive me.

Question: I know all of them can play movies. But is the quality good? I know it's file dependent, but does the flash card matter as well? Also what format does the movie files have to be?

Once again, very sorry for being so noob.

1. The quality is decent. But takes forever to convert

2. No, the flash cart doesn't matter.

3. DPG. there's 3 programs I know that converts it that way. SUPER, batchDPG, and something else.

AK2 is now around $23 at DealExtreme while SK2 is around $28. $5 difference.....damn it.

Both the AK2 and SCDS have the built in moonshell which allows for movie and song playback right?

i would suggest the SC-DS1. AK2 has had faulty batches recently... and for only a 5$ difference SC-DS1 would be a safer and more feature-filled bet.

The SCDS One operating system is a heavily modified moonshell itself. While you have the advantage of being able to directly play music and videos, the problem is that it's quite an old version of moonshell. I'm not sure if the AK2 has built-in moonshell but you can probably easily just download it and stick it in your microSD.

I don't think the AK2 has a built in Moonshell....

You're right, Acekard 2 doesn't have Moonshell built-in.

Get the supercard. It's only a little more expensive but you get more features (and better support too) to boot. Any problems with the Menu you can replace it with a custom one. (or am I mistaking this for something else?)

Finally placed my order early this morning, at around 1 a.m. I ordered a Supercard DS, 4 replacement stylus, fake hori screen protectors, cyan carrying case which I think is the same one my friend has, and a flashlight for my mom's car. Total came to $45.23. If I was to buy all those at Pacific Mall, I'd have to pay over $100. I asked the other day and the AK2 with a 2GB memory card + 100 games was $80.

Should I get the SanDisk 8GB MicroSDHC Class 4? It's $20 cheaper than Canada Computers, and at Canada Computers, I have to pay tax. However, I read that Supercard has a bug where games work best with Class 6 cards? Is 8GB overkill? I could always get a Kingston or a Patriot 4GB one, depending on whichever is cheaper.

I'm gonna keep games, movies, and possibly some music on the DS. Movie files aren't huge right? And the music files can be kept at .mp3? That'll help me choose whether to get 4GB or 8GB SD card.

Get it from here
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-microSDHC-Ca...1795&sr=8-1

Only a little bit cheaper if you add in include shipping prices, but you won't have to wait 2-3 weeks like from DX.

Get the 8GB Sandisk. There's really no reason not to, unless you're really short on cash. I've only heard good things about it.
