In all seriousness, we can't boot palantine from a9lh, can we?
I put it there as a joke, but iirc, it does have a boot.bin file, so maybe?
EDIT: Also realise I spelt Palantine wrong in the poll

Pialects guide advertises cakes as more advanced and has up and coming features but the only thing cakes has recently added was Firm0/1 protection and that was 20 days ago (aureinand already had it way before)
...I know. That's a testing fork for an arm9hooks build.yeah but thats not the offical Github

tbf though why would you disable those things, kinda defeats the purpose of a CFWCakes is more geared towards advanced users (doesn't apply any patch automatically, you have to configure them, and can use only that FIRM you patched yourself at that time).
AuReiNand is (by my own admission) geared towards user-friendliness. It applies the patches the average user surely needs (you can't disable signature patches or reboot patches at all times, or the firm protection when you boot a9lh sysNAND), is configured for the most common usage scenarios (autoboots emuNAND, or sysNAND on updated sysNAND mode, L is for the second thing you might want to use, etc.).
So you can't really say which one is "best". Probably the average user on this site would have an easier time with AuRei.
;_;
I try my best to keep up with stuff but the scene's too sanic. I have some unreleased stuff that is half-finished due to me switching priorities around all the time due to constantly changing demands/interest. That, and lately there's been a bunch of personal business that has kept me from working on it. Also note the wip branch: https://github.com/mid-kid/CakesForeveryWan/commits/wip-new-format
Dont let people discourage you !
There will always be people saying things, sometimes is not even by bad intents, people just naturally want more and more. I'm using cakes by a long time now and couldnt be more happy, thank you! =)
I feel as though this may be your issue. Even if it's not what is under most demand right now I would seriously recommend sticking to one thing and finishing it rather than leaving it half implemented and moving onto something else. For example say you were working on agb_firm patching but then BOOM WE KNOW HOW TO DO REGION FREE, keep doing what you are doing on agb_firm even if it's not what's being cried for the most. We get it things take time but don't drop things halfway through. Plus there is the issue of not remembering what you were doing when you come back to a project..;_;

I know, but while I can deal with it, it still sucks to not to be able to keep up to user's expectations.
Thanks anyway.
When you try to please 15 year olds that feel entitled to free stuff, no one winsI know, but while I can deal with it, it still sucks to not to be able to keep up to user's expectations.
