Where To Buy Reader To Read/Backup Wii Games?

    Does anyone know where I can get the LG or any other dvd rom to read the wii games?

    Are these the only ones that will work?
    * LG-8164b
    * LG-8163b
    * LG-8162b
    * LG-8161b

    It seems that LG has discontinued those drives because no one has them in stock. Will any other drive work?

    No, none others work. It's only LG. If you really want one (which I find pointless since they're all on the internet) then your best bet is to try eBay. They're bound to be on there.

    why not just use the wifi dumper?

    Thanks to cool new homebrew developments, you can now use your own Wii to dump the games, no additional hardware is required.

    Exactly. I'm getting speeds of almost 500kbps, which is about 2 1/2 hours per game. Plus, it's free! I'd go for the wifi dumper if I were you.
