ROM Hack where are your switch saves stored at?

I currently have sd card in switch,But I ordered fresh 64gb one for this
I wanna back up my saves when sx pro arrives, Are they stored on sd card or internal nand
Dont want accidentally delete my botw and hyrule warriors saves mainly.

They are on the nand. You can't back them up without homebrew like checkpoint.
