WHY!!!!There are no bugs held in reserve, the secure monitor/kernel have no security flaws (feel free to audit my open implementations).
I've sunk hundreds of hours into trying to produce a Mariko compromise and personally believe it's just not in the cards, now or ever.
Nobody is working on it, either, because everyone who has tried ends up finding that the software is just actually secure.
Nintendo made the Kernel/Secure Monitor small enough to actually be possible to get right, and they did so.
They're probably asking when will patched Erista/Mariko/Aula units be exploited besides SX/HWFLY modchips. Thanks to sx os for hardware mod and chinese clone
Imagine without them only unpatched switch can cfw
To be clear, the exploit being used in unpached switches is an Nvidia hardware flaw that was exposed because RCM was still accessible via USB. The modchips also exploit that flaw but do so externally. Exploiting it is of course much more difficult than the unpached switches but the end result is the same. Thanks to sx os for hardware mod and chinese clone
