I have Windows. Just because it's basically the standard at this time.

I know the only way to change that is to get off the bandwagon, but I reeeeaaally don't feel like putting up with any OS barriers. EVERYTHING works on Windows! (As long as Windows works)

Actually, the comments have been well-natured so far. Mac users and Linux users and Windows users, all in perfect harmony!

Fedora Linux, then Windows 7 for gaming. Would use windows more, but usually just need a quick boot and go straight to the internet.

My windows 7 boots in around 20 second :/
My friends windows with the right bios settings started in about 12.

Windows for me 7 is legit!
But I was a long time supporter of XP as well.

Guhh, XP got on my nerves with age. It started out being moderately fast, but as time went by, startup time increased exponentially, clicking on the Start button meant a ten-second hang before popping up, and just an all-around frustrating experience that showed just how unoptimized the OS was. Granted, my PC wasn't the best, but I did my best to keep it in tip-top shape.

Windows 7 was an unfathomable improvement. Everything is efficient as can be. I'm still not used to the performance. Hopefully, the quality will hold up, and not deteriorate with age like XP.

No poll?

Anyway, is the question Mac OSX or Windows operating systems? Then I say Windows.
However, if the question is Mac hardware or "PC" hardware... yeah, still PC.

A common argument for Mac users is that OSX is better because it's faster and has no viruses. That's not true. With a PC, you can get the unrivaled ability to customize and you can dual boot to get the compatibility of Windows and the speed and safety of Linux (I use Ubuntu 10.04, but I will soon switch to Linux Mint 9). Sure you can do it with a Mac, but really, the $2500+ price is not justified especially if you have to buy Windows on top of it. I've got no hate for Macs though, but they're not as good as a custom built PC.

Well, I use Windows 7 mainly, OS X sometimes and Ubuntu sometimes as well. I like the free choice of hardware in Windows and (to some degree) in Linux. Being bound to some expensive hardware (officially) is some big fault of OS X. Also every OS has it's UI Pros and Cons. They are all good OSs.

Lol at OP clip xD

But seriously Id neve buy a Mac... had one once and NEVER again -_-

I actually like to use programs and play games
