Hardware Whats your 3DS look like?

Do you have a custom paint job? or did you buy a sticker from online? Heres a pic of my shitty spray paint job i did a few months ago, got the 3ds with a stripped screw so i couldnt take off the back so i had to put painters tape around everything and make due. smh. whats yours look like?

Mine is a Nintendo 3DS XL that is just straight pink.

Oddly enough, all of the portable electronic stuff that I use the most all turned out to be pink. My PSP, my 3DS, this laptop I'm using. No homophobic subtext intended here, just a coincidence that I can't help but put some mild significance due to its coincidence.

I would actually prefer it to not be clear, I have considered buying some black card stock and putting it underneath. I saw someone do that with white paper on a white n3DS and it looked much better than without it IMO.

I don't claim to have any skills in spray-painting a 2/3DS. All of mine have stock shells, including the ones with capturecard hard-mods. I skipped out picking up the smaller new 3DSes, fat fingers and all that.

I was thinking about hard modding the capture card as well, any suggestions for a noob at soldering like myself?

old3DS, scratched on the bottom. Some cracks on the top. Inside, scratches. That's pretty much it. And black coloured.

The hard-mod requires too many small points to solder for someone too unfamiliar to try on their first try.

This is the assembly of the OG 3DS capturecard, if you think you can do that on your first try then you can try and ask katsukity to sell you the kit, he'll likely say no.

(He doesn't sell the kit alone anymore due to people trying to return it because they couldn't get it soldered themselves.)

Otherwise it is easier to buy the either buy the fully assembled one or send yours in for install which is cheaper.

The capturecard pretty much costs money, it is not for those that wants to be cheap about it.
