Why is everyone so upset about Wiikey? Does it not allow you to boot backups? What more do you want from it?

What's wrong with WiiKey? Well, other than the fact that original legit games that you paid for that are affected by the audio fix problem for Gamecube games, nothing. (backups of these same games also don't work about, but people complaining about not being able to play those are no room to complain because they didn't pay for said games)

The problem with the Wiikey is that once installed it secretly emits a deadly gas that turns many PAL Wii owners and all people without a GameCube into whining, attention seeking noobs. The forthcoming patch for the Wiikey may stop this dangerous leak. However, in the mean time, if you are worried that you may be affected, then a temporary solution is to cover all air vents and ports (inc DVD drive) with duct tape to stop gas leaking from the console.

Oh so it's just this little audio fix thing that doesn't even affect Wii games? Doesn't seem like the big deal people are making it out to be...

hey now, they paid their $10-30 for the Wiikey, they have every right to demand to play all 1000 gamecube games, not a measily 980. I mean, you can't do anything fun with such a limitation on your mind. It's like someone telling you to not eat fried chicken.

Mmmm .. fried chicken. Hmm, where was I?

Nothing is wrong with the wiikey. Its just we haven't had a promised update and its behind the other modchips. But if your paying $5 for a clone, then its a perfect choice.
