Gaming Whats wrong with my DS lite?

Hey guys,
i was playing Mario kart last night on my acekard and right as i had completed my race both my screen turned to green. it wasn't a solid green, there was some highlights and shadows thrown in. i just thought the game glitched so i thought nothing of it. i proceeded to turn off my ds and then turn it back on. The prombled was that my green led turned on and stays on but both screen remain black. no flickers or nothing on top of that i get no sounds so i don't think the screen are broken. If i could get some help it would be appreciated.

Did you try to power it up without the linker inside?

If yes, and still no luck, try removing its battery and leave it like that for ~10 minutes. Then try again.

EDIT: at least reply if you fixed it. I know you were here at the time i posted this.

im sorry for the long wait. i posted this before school and just got home 10 minutes ago. ill remove the battery now. thanks for the response

edit: didnt seem to work any other ideas?

edit again: okay i guess i fixed it. i opened it up and cleaned it out a little and it works fine. thanks for your help.
