R4i gold 3ds plus is preflashed for NTRboothax and has an easy to use switch built inside the flashcart to toggle between DS mode and NTR mode. The bad thing is the switch is in the cartridge.

Agree, since I don't think people want to boot into NTRhax that much anyway.

so I have ordered the rts but don't mind spending more money on another one can I install cfw from v11.2.0.0E and play ds games with the plus card cheers

You can recover from any kind or brick, even boot0 bricks.
