Hardware Whats the difference with the new R4DS?

I just received 4 more R4DS's and I had one from before the great shortage of March/April 08. I wondered if there would be anything different between them, and i was right (as you can see in the pics below). The chipset is a little different. Anyone know if there is any benefit with the newer ones?

Anyone know what the difference in the chipset is? i had no luck on google.

Just a guess those numbers identify week in production 08 = 2008, 12 and 02 the week.
