Lali ho!
Well, after the best part of a week, I've finally got a set of files on my new PSP that actually works. Many thanks to the many members of the 'temp that have helped me in this endeavour. And I got to wondering. Those of you with PSP's and custom firmware, what files do you keep around? I'm curious to see what's popular at the moment, how my fellow 'temp members play, etc. Here's my setup, to get us started. Hopefully we'll see a little diversity in this topic, as opposed to 50 posts of 'Metal Gear Solid Peave Walker and NOTHING ELSE'.
Theme: Valkyrie Profile Lenneth theme, with Lenneth as the background, and white feathers as the icons.
No music or movies, I keep those on my Cyclo DS Evo cards instead.
Games
1GB card:
- Castlevania SOTN (almost finished it but I'll play it about a hundred more times)
- Crash Bandicoot 2
- Vagrant Story (not started properly yet, been busy)
- My SNES and GBA emulators with more files than I care to mention.
4GB Main card
- Ace Combat X Skies of Deception. Seems to be running a little slow, but it might just be my crappy plane. Will continue to test. At least it proves my analogue stick is fixed though.
- Fat Princess Fistful of Cake. The title intrigues me, I've never actually played it before.
- LittleBig Planet. Aside from a few extremely minor sound issues it seems fine. Moreso now that my connection to PSN is restored via a crafty plugin.
- Harvest Moon Hero of Leaf Valley.
- Soul Calibur Broken Destiny.
- Parodius. This game is fuckin' hilarious. Action packed 2D shooting where the bosses are replaced with cat-faced pirate ships? Sign me up.
- Jade Cocoon.
- Tales of Destiny.
- Alundra
- Silent Hill
Not bad for an initial setup. Now that my PSN connection is restored (although it does keep giving me an error message
) I might go buy one last memory card, an 8GB, then get FF7,8 and 9. Incidentally, I'm told that the PSN version of FF8 is 'problematic' but I've got no chance of downloading it any other way without taking a month to do so. With that in mind, how problematic are we talking and how can I evade the issue?
