Hacking Whats my best bet, Acekard 2 vs 2i

I'm going to buy an acekard because my m3 simply served me well for three years but now its obsolete, I need something that will be updated and currently supported.

I have i ds lite, and i am wondering if it matters whether i buy a 2 or 2i, is their really a difference other than one supporting the dsi?

2i for sure, got a 2 and its defective, so i just ordered a 2i of dealextreme, only 13 dollars, even cheaper than my 2 was!
