I need to resize one .gif animation I have, anyway to do that? Tried paint... Didn't work... Is there some special .gif editing software?

GIMP can edit GIFs. Each frame of animation is a separate layer. To resize the GIF, just resize the image (which resizes every layer/frame).

Just a note, open the GIF and go to Image - Mode - RGB, then when you resize it it won't look as crappy (though this will lose the pixelation effect for gifs like in your sig). Then when you go to save it it'll offer to re-convert to a fixed palette for you.
