If you have bootmii installed as boot2 you cant go worse than what you have right now. Just backup your nand and then you can format your nand if you will.

The same thing would happen, that happens during all re-formats... The same thing that it warns you about when you try to format.

FOrmat will del any homebrew channels and reset you console.
BUt it's useless for the WIFI connection problem.

DO NOT FORMAT YOUR CONSOLE, if you softmodded your risk of brick is highest.

Just delete the internet options if you set before.

A brick. That is what will happen.

    NEVER format your Wii.

a brick won't happen if it is softmodded correctly.
and even if it isn't and you have a backup who cares.
go for it you won't have any problems.
done it hundreds of times when cleaning up wii's

I almost formatted my memory. Was stupid. Formatting memory erases everything. Don't do it unless you absolutely have to.

If you really really want to get rid of all softmods, delete all your IOS and Channel mods with something like AnyTitle Deleter first, then use the hackmii installer to uninstall bootmii and HBC. But none of that is going to fix your net problems.

The easiest thing to update to 4.2 and all new IOSes is NUSAD.
