I cant connect to my fios router any more , it use to work then I hacked a friends wii for him , but now when I try to get mine working with the router again it wont connect nor matter what I do ...I just got my sons wii to work with my router , so I'm wondering if its a firmware update issue or a memory issues , I do have boot 2 installed on my wii

If you have bootmii installed as boot2 you cant go worse than what you have right now. Just backup your nand and then you can format your nand if you will.

The same thing would happen, that happens during all re-formats... The same thing that it warns you about when you try to format.

DO NOT FORMAT YOUR CONSOLE, if you softmodded your risk of brick is highest.

Just delete the internet options if you set before.

a brick won't happen if it is softmodded correctly.
and even if it isn't and you have a backup who cares.
go for it you won't have any problems.
done it hundreds of times when cleaning up wii's

If you really really want to get rid of all softmods, delete all your IOS and Channel mods with something like AnyTitle Deleter first, then use the hackmii installer to uninstall bootmii and HBC. But none of that is going to fix your net problems.

Team Twiizers and the rest of you that created boot mii THANK YOU ....... I did a nand restore and now my wii is connecting to the internet again , only down side is , i'm back to 4.0 instaed of 4.2 can anyone direct me on how to safely update ?
