as far as i know thats impossible
I guess my n3DS is the second coming of Jesus then :hrth:

...on a more serious note, I did a bit of Google searching, and it is indeed possible. Apparently I installed a highly experimental unofficial build of A9LH without realizing?
(this version has an incredibly barebones SDless CFW with broken TWL support, and was apparently spread on Reddit)

bricking. lots and lots of bricking. Do not use otp-less unless you want to brick your system. follow 3ds.guide, every single step.
It was a 2% brick rate, how is that "lots" of bricking? Your reply seems so misinformed.

You can run OTPless on 11.2 if you want now with fasthax, a a9lh installation can take less than 5 minutes to setup everything.

thats a huge amount that means 1/50 3ds would get bricked so yes its a big deal and everyone is going to hide that old dangerous way and take the long safe route slow and steady does win the race in this case

Sounds like shadownand
It was around the same time as ShadowNAND, a bit later IIRC. It was made by Aurora Wright but never officially released, then scrapped for the current CTRNAND payload support with Luma working from there.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
BakerMan @ BakerMan: idk how hot of a take this is, but science as a subject sucks
