Hacking What should I do?

Hey guys,
Bit of a dilema right now...
I have a new 3ds (brand new) sys ver 11.0.0.33U
From what I know I think I can use browserhax right now to install homebrew and menu hax and eveyrthing (right?)

If I want to get ready for slowhax, I need to buy legend of exidia on my nintendo account right? Is that really necessary? I've read somewhere you just need an entry point (menu hax enough?)

Can I do all of that without updating my system? I haven't connected the 3ds online yet for fear of fucking up

Yes, with a hardmod once you downgrade the FIRM then you just need homebrew access to downgrade.
But if you can't hardmod and only wanna downgrade using software then you need to prepare it for slowhax and wait (if the DSi downgrade is not possible anymore https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade)
