I've had some not so good and not so bad experiences with SanDisk Ultra before.
    I used to have a 64GB SanDisk ultra A1 V30 sd card
But i somehow lost it and i can't seem to find it anywhere.

Anyways. Should i upgrade to a SanDisk Extreme or better to an Extreme Pro?
Is it worth to spend some more money on it?
What about the Nintendo Switch branded SD cards? Are they any good?

1TB is just gonna be a waste on the Switch. Why would you wanna pirate that many games?

Jesus Christ even 400GB is a waste for me.
I'm not an active gamer as i used to be back in my high school days lol.
I have to make a tight schedule for what games to play now as I'm really busy with stuff.
A 256GB one would be more than enough for me
I think I'll go for the extreme pro brand

I have pirated 1TB worth of games on the switch they sit on my 5TB external HD. I just store the games because there will be a time in the distant future the "Sites"will get shut down and I don't have to worry about getting games again. It's better I get them now versus wait until it is too late.

@ OP just get a 128gb memory card it can hold 10-12 games.

    But the thing is
Doom eternal and the witcher are going to take roughly 60+ GB of data that's why i need a 255GB kne at least for 20 games.

Doom eternal isn't on the switch. The witcher 3 is roughly 32gb

Don't bother with SanDisk Extreme, the Switch is not going to benefit from the higher speed at all.
SanDisk Ultra or Samsung Evo (Plus) or Evo Select is the way to go. I found Samsung to be cheaper for a 512GB card so I went with that. 400 or 512 GB is a good size to have room left for future games, I would not suggest any smaller than 256 GB though as some Switch games when you install updates and DLC can take up like 50 GB.

Dont foget to get an external HD to store your games. It would be nice if you can play your romsets from retroarch from the external HD. IDK If SXOS offer that I still gotta set my system up

Wow thanks for letting me know @The Real Jdbye
This saves me both time and money.
I'll be getting a Samsung or SanDisk ultra 400GB card then.

Wait but won't it get a release on the Switch?

No confirmation that it will. Porting games to the switch is harder. We just have to wait

The Samsung Evo Plus / Select is U3 but I don't think the Switch can take advantage of the increased speed.
For 400GB SanDisk is your only choice. The price for SanDisk 512GB is only a little more per GB than the 400GB. Samsung seems to be more expensive right now.

AliExpress is all fakes, never buy SD cards from China.
Buy locally if you have to.
