You 🤔's keep writing that while zero exploits are discovered. Plenty of devices, like iPhones in lockdown mode, have never been hacked. And that's even when nation's want to unlock them and have the full resources of their spy agencies available. Just because some devices of the past have been hacked doesn't mean those in the present or future will; the Switch 2 is unhackable. That's the kryptonite to your copium.

Keep in mind that this loser posted his idiotic video well over a year ago:
Well That Was Fast... Switch 2 Hack
With equally idiotic comments like: "Switch 2 got hacked already šŸ˜‚... Nintendo absolutely deserved that!"

You got that right, troll!

Hey i like Riley. Its the best host of all LTT members, even if the "news" we presents are bit superficial, he's funny.

Is the Switch 2 hacked? No? Then it is unhackable.

As simple as that.
unhacked: not cut or hacked (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/unhacked)
unhackable: Not hackable; that cannot be hacked or broken into. (https://www.wordnik.com/words/unhackable)

I guess in a hyper literal, definition not really as it's used by people, you are not wrong.

Right this second I cannot hack it, and therefore it is right this second unhackable. As soon as someone finds vulnerabilities that could be used to hack it, it is of course still right that second unhackable! After all that vulnerability only THEORETICALLY leads to a hack, it is not quite a hack in and of itself. But at some point with continued development that likely set of vulnerabilities can be turned into an exploit to hack the Switch 2, at which on the nanosecond the last character is typed in the exploit code, suddenly the Switch 2 becomes hackable.

In fact for people without the ability to look up how to, you could easily argue any console ever released is unhackable, to that person, because they could not do it.

I'm fairly certain my grandpa could not hack a Wii. So the Wii is clearly unhackable! (to him)

Really makes you think, doesn't it?

I like James a lot too, but he doesn't host as much. People hate on LTT a lot, but it is a really digestible way to at least gain passing familiarity with topics all over the tech sphere

OK, hear me out.

If the Switch 2 gets hacked, I will swallow a cartridge (and get banned if I don't).

This has to be the most hilarious and the saddest thread ever in 'Temp. Trust the company - the company is your friend. Gotta believe the most devoted have their names already on Mr. Miyamotos last will and the afterlife in Nintendoland with all the other virgins will be full of bliss.

The sad part is what happens when your religion is taken from you and your beliefs get crushed.

Personally, I give a toss whether Switch 2 will get hacked, only interested in Xenoblades in Nintys portfolio myself. That said I'm sure SciresM is right when saying that there are no attack vectors in HOS itself. Of course - when the system is as barebones as you can get for used only as launching platform and dropping modern console amenities like browser etc. that helps. On the other hand, there are examples of fully realised consoles, still left unhacked, even with all the modern bells and whistles.

Also, there's the interaction between software and hardware. Suitable hardware bug, or even a feature can get the house of cards come crashing down, once persons with right kind of experience and skillset get their beady eyes on it - and Gezine isn't just a random nobody to name just one.

My belief is that SS2 will get hacked, it might be later today or 10 years from now, but it'll happen.
