Gaming What PS3 games do you recommend?

Hey so my bro's planning to get a PS3, since there's a bundle out right now, but what games are good?
I'm into mostly every type of game but i like RPG and adventure games the most like Kingdom Hearts and Assassin's Creed.
We're currently getting two games: Madden 11 and Assassin's Creed II.
We don't know what other games to get so do you guys have any suggestions?

If you want an fps, get Modern Warfare 2, or Black Ops when it comes out.

If your into Grand Theft Auto, get GTA IV.

My bro was planning to get GTA IV but if my mom saw us playing it she would probably take the system away since there's alot of cussing and all that lol. Thanks for the suggestions though I'm going to go look into Modern Warfare.

If you want some RPGs, I'd recommend Tales of Vesperia (if you understand moonrunes), Resonance of Fate, and/or Demon's Souls.

Bayonetta, but theres a lot of cussing in that..and pole dancing..and almost nudity. lol. But still its an awesome game.

I highly recommend Dragon Age: Origins and Oblivion for two must have RPGs.

If you want a real challenge, an honest to God, hard challenge, I also recommend Demon's Souls.

FPS, I recommend Battlefield: Bad Company 1 and 2, Modern Warfare 1 & 2.
I don't know what Bioshock falls under since it's an FPS/Adventure, but I recommend it just as much.

Demon's Souls can be quite difficult if you play through it the first time, but as soon as you learn the strategies for the bosses, it becomes quite easy.

If you really want to see what the PS3 is capable of and enjoy multiplayer I suggest Little Big Planet and WipEout HD. Both are excellent games for multiplayer/online and both look great.

Burnout Paradise(very good racer)
Super Street Fighter IV if you like fighting games.
Uncharted 2.
Red Dead Redemption(better than GTA4, I'm waiting for the flamers because of my claim =P)

I can't think of anything else at the moment.


Oh yea... God Of War III but it's VERY gory lol.

Final Fantasy XIII and Dragon Age: Origins, I didn't play them on PS3 though, rather on 360 and PC but they're the same on each platform

I'm playing Final Fantasy XIII now and I like it but I have to pay attention to the story more because sometimes I don't get what's going on lol.
