Hacking What program can I use to play movies (.avi / .mkv) from SD?

Hello, I want to play movies from a SD card or stream it from my computer if you can't play from from SD. What program(s) can I use for this? Thanks.

MPlayer CE is your go-to media player. See if it'll do what you want.

But be aware that it can only play stuff in standard definition and it can't handle h.264 encoded videos even if they're in standard def.

thanks. its a bummer it cant play h.264 encoded videos. Is there anyway I could know before I put it on the SD card and find out later?

Know what? If your given file will play? Best way to find out is to give it a shot.
