So basically i'm developing a game in GRRLIB, and i noticed that there's no way to play a video file on Wii without looking trough WiiMC, which because of how complex the program is, i can't integrate it to my GRRLIB project.

My goal is to just play a video file from SD card, i don't care in what format, with pause, play and stop options. Nothing too complex.

would be nice to integrate 16:9 and 4:3 options.

I did such a thing : ). I made a player which can play mjpeg. You need to convert the video to mjpeg+mp3 with ffmpeg. It works, however you can't yet control the framerate, but I'll do that soon. Doesnt work too well with higher resolution videos tho. If you need help you can text me.
Or go to my github kollerfuzzi/WiiQuiz and have a look at mjpegplayer.
