Why do you think that soft reset is Unstable? I know that It does not function in homebrew, but that is standard.

-Soft reset is fine on my cart.

-Didn't we already get download play in the latest dsgba firmware? Anyway I guess it needs improvement.

-I hope they don't put in a cheat function. Cheats ruin gaming. If you can't play games without cheats, pick another hobby.

+Extra customisation of the menu, i.e. alphabetical sort.

+Being able to hold a button combo to launch the last played/ favourite rom would be good. If you're just playing one game, you could go straight to it. Or you could use it for launching Moonshell.

+More menu colour options. I don't like how it inverses the colours on the currently selected game. It would be good if you could edit the colours from within the menu too. Using global.ini and hoping you picked the right colour is annoying.

+In-menu brightness controls.

Soft reset for the DS games is fine.

Homebrew soft reset would be nice. The DsOne just got it, although, it's awfully buggy. But it would still be nice if the N-Card had it though.

I would like for it to get it cheats. I don't personally use them, but I know a lot of people do. And since every other cart has this has option, the N-Card should too.

And to add to that, having a Realtime Cheat menu.

You can already sort the roms alphabetically zombie. I've had mine alphabetized for months now. But sorting them by size or date would be nice I guess.

And yeah, auto launching a game would be nice. Either doing it with a button command, or editing the global.ini, or by renaming the rom to autolaunch.nds(or something else like that).

And that's about it. I love to see it get a feature like Realtime Save. Especially be the first cart to have it. But I really doubt any slot 1 is going to get this feature.

I don't we'll see any of these features. And if we do, it probably won't be for a long time. Look how long it took for this cart to get a basic feature like soft reset.

How do you sort ROMs alphabetically? They go in date added order for me.

hook it up to you computer.
Right click->Arrange Icons By->Show in groups.
Not they will be in order!

Well that was simple enough. It worked except for 3 games. For some reason they're at the end of everything.

First, check to see if there is a space before the name. I've done that a few times. Hit right-click, then Rename. Then click the cursor right up against the edge of the first letter, and hit backspace.

And if that isn't it, are they newly added games? Did you add them before you hit Arrange Icons by Name? If so, select all the roms. Then on the left side of the window, you'll see Move Selected Items. Click that, and move them to the root of your cart(you know, E:, F:, G:, whatever the drive letter is for your cart). Then after all the roms moved to the root, select them all and move them back into whatever folder you moved them from and that should do it.

For some reason, you have to move them back and forth like that every time you add a new game, or it won't show up alphabetically.

If you have nds files in other folders they'll be at the top or bottom of the list. My Snemul.nds is always at the bottom because it's in a different folder.

What the N-Card needs is options in the menu to sort games. It's way too much trouble to cut and paste everything every time you change something.

Rather than keeping things alphabetically sorted (I guess I'm not so anal retentive as some of you guys

) and related to zombielove's request for quick load, I think it would be easier and more intuitive if the last used game is always moved to the top of the list.

Whenever the menu loads now, the first item is highlighted ready to roll on pressing 'A'. If xmenu could just remember what was played last (it already does with the save dating) and move it to the top, your most used games would always be on the front page, with your last used ready to go with just an 'A'.

I'd like to see file copying or save backup/management. Some games already allow you to copy your save to one of 3 slots as a backup but many do not. I'd love to be able to backup and manage .savs from xmenu. It would help with games like Etrian Odyssey or Pokemon Pearl/Diamond for example, that only allow one save. Currently you have to hook up to a PC to do this.
