Back in 2019, when SX OS has just launched, SX OS had a lot of things that were "worth it", I believe. But at this moment, Atmosphere exists and from what I know, SX OS can brick your console because it has brickcode implemented in it (did xecuter make gateway that their soft is potentially dangerous?), SX OS is paid and SX OS has little to none advantages over atmosphere?

It's an XCI loader, parading around as a CFW. But everyone that knows how to implement the XCI loader into Atmosphere is too pussy to do it, and/or doesn't support piracy because morals or some shit. (It's always something stupid. Like the need to add sigpatches in Atmosphere, when they should already be there to begin with.)

The lack of piracy in Atmosphere protects them from Nintendo's ninjas.

Whats the point? SX OS is the best, you can run the XCIs confortably from your external 2.5 HDD, you can store a huge amount of Switch games in it. I don´t know about anyone, but i use SX OS and i can run games without firmware requirements, for example the new Zelda Skyward, Metroid Dread, Diablo Eternal Collection with the last SX OS firmware released, i think it was 11.0.1.

Agreed, On SXOS, just beat Dread, now playing PKM Diamond. I use the external HDD too much to switch. when I can get a 4TB sd card, then I will switch. If games stop getting "Backpatched" then I will go back to physical games. XCI support and External support is crucial af, I work too much to deal with installs every time I get a few moments to game.

xci requires intalling nsp updates, or at least injecting the update on it.
if the point of xci is because it is less time consuming installing, I don't get it.
if the point is storing all library, well, only 50 titles worth it and they fit a 512gb card and the console meets its purpose... it's portable! No hdd hanging! It's my opinion.

Well ist was the first working solution.

And it just is easier to setup. You place one file on your SD-card and everything works.

And yes I know Atmosphere is also not that complicated ... but well. It is no one-file solution.

the point is people wasted money on it so they will continue to make any excuse to justify the purchase and MOST refuse to use atmosphere for that exact reason.

imagine actually believing that helping to protect a corporation that employs slave labor and child slave labor

and exploitation in a despotic communist dictatorship is the "moral" thing to do

It's more like protecting yourself from the corporation's lawyers. The moment Atmosphère contains anything directly related to piracy by default is the moment Atmosphère gets shut down. Nobody is standing in the way of XCI support, sigpatches or a built-in NSP dumper to protect Big N, they're just not pursuing those avenues to keep Big N at bay.

yeah but there is such a thing as an anonymous release ,how do you think scene release groups work

boy I really miss those days when hacks were released anonymously

before all this fame whoring

I don't get why people feel the need to use their real names anyways
