It depends. Do you want to really challenge your brain. If you do I would get brain age as it has sudoko puzzles which are very good.
Brain Academy is more of a diversion for the younger market.
 
Big Brain.
It's much more of a game than Brain Age.

And Nurikabe shits on Sudoku.

Brain Age: Get better at math, best sudoku cart out there.
Big Brain Acad: More Warioish. More logicish. More fun, but only do the training.

That said, I do go into Brain age at least three times a week to do voice math, low to high, Triangle/100/20 Math. I don't do my brain age, because I refuse to memorize another 30 four letter words. BA2 needs an "I HATE THAT" feature.

I will load your deficating Nurikabe and hope I can make it through the intro screens. After all, Akari is great, but who knows what mode I'm actually in.
 
Big Brain Academy lacked very much in challenge. I played for one day on training and nearly gold ranked all of the missions. Not fun.
