maybe a pc engine emulator that runs on o3ds? considering nitrografx on DS runs most things fullspeed, what retroarch has to offer is just sad

Save backup manager.
1. Running application with additional button (for ex: A) will run home menu.
2. Select applications and games to backup (with checkbox).
3. Save selection. Exit app.
4. Run application without additional button will create backup on SD card of selected programs and games.
5. When backup will be finished application will close itself.

How about a video player that can play both 2d and 3d movies with both local and http support that can handle large videos and still be able to seek. Of course, mp4 support would be limited to the n3ds with the 2ds/old 3ds still needing to use the previous 3ds video format, but without the 10 minute limit or issues with fast forward/rewind.

MUGEN doesn't have its source code available, so a direct port wouldn't be possible. There are opensource MUGEN clones, though, so that might be as close as we get to having MUGEN on the 3DS.

You know what? That just reminds me that there isn't really a proper Beats of Rage port available for 3DS aside from that quick port someone made a while back. Seeing as to how OpenBOR is available on practically every other platform, I think the 3DS homebrew scene could use a port too. :)

Maybe create a homebrew app for 3dsthem.es! Maybe have some really nice UI to download themes and such! Would love to see that!

Another thing you could make is a game like Photo Dojo! People have been wanting a sequel. Maybe for a test you could make it so you draw.

If you don't know what it is it's a game where you take pictures of someone in poses, then do some sounds and then they get used for a fighting game!

Go google it if you don't know what i mean.

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
