It's been removed from the official site?

I'm looking for the best NES emulator to play Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and 3 on Wood R4.

    Any relation between these?

The first one was last updated 27th October 2009, the second one was last updated 10th November 2010.

I really don't know which one to get. The first one has a Change Log, and the changes look good.

On the other hand, the second one is much more recent and might include those changes and yet further refine the app; or, it may not include the changes and might even be inferior. It doesn't even have a Change Log or any explanation of what it is, except saying it's an public domain version of nesDS. twistidsins, how do you know this is supposed to fix a few issues? Is there any discussion on this version somewhere?

    Thanks to all

I would imagine every NES game in existence will work on nesDS at this point. It has flawless compatibility from my personal experience with it. I'm not sure if all hacks will work perfectly, as hacks aren't always supported. With NES games though, I doubt it will be an issue.

Basically, it is one of, if not the best emulator on the DS.
