What got you into gaming?

I was given a SNES with Yoshi's Island, started playing it, never stopped playing it.

I was kind of born into it, as my dad was into gaming long before I existed. My dad already had an Atari 7800, NES, and Genesis when I was born. I rather enjoyed games like Food Fight when I was really young. Then when I was five when my dad got me a SNES, my very first console. I've always been into gaming, though I wouldn't say I really loved gaming until I played Metroid Prime when it first came out. Metroid Prime was just so beautiful to me and it made me realize what gaming could be.

My first game console at 3 SNES with yoshi's island along with earthbound bought back when blockbuster was going around, did you know they used to lend out consoles too? From then on I have been gaming ever since

There was a magical game called Syphon Filter, and Fighting force with ponies and lions (I'm bullshitting lol) for the PS1. I was 6 years old playing these two amazing video games on my brother PS1 at the time. All I know is my bro passed me the controller, and it intrigued me because I love the old school feel from both of those games. Those games alone spark a gamer along with Rayman 64 and MK Deception


Syphon filter is my Uncharted and Fighting force is my MK Shaolin Monks
MK Deception is my Ninja Gaiden
And Rayman 64 is my Sunset OverDrive

I think the first game I played was mario on the nes. But final fantasy 7 was the game that really got me into gaming. Ocarina of time and pokemon really did the trick too

Aw man i remember playing fzero X with my brother
Dude always beat me but i just loved playing the slots for some reason then there was smash bros
and a shit ton of majora and kirby xD
