Themes would be nice. Custom wallpapers, like on DSi would be even nicer.
I don't miss folders very much; I even adapted the ‘sort library by most recently played’-philosophy on Steam. Although, the option to have a more 3DS-like HOME Menu and/or sorting outside of the All Software menu would be nice.
N64 Online would certainly be neat. GameCube Online even more. Although, I'd like to see the ability to purchase these titles separately, instead of needing an active online subscription. I get that the games are supposed to be a selling point for Switch Online, but I doubt they are one of the main reasons people will subscribe.
I'd like to have the internet browser normally accessible, and with the same features as on New3DS and Wii U. I know a lot of people like to say ‘Hurr-durr, just buy a Chromecast or plug your PC in via HDMI,’ but it was really convenient to watch anime and YouTube on the TV with friends over on my Wii U.

Also, fuck yeah, stablility.

Even just adding menu music would be nice, but knowing Nintendo, custom menu music would have a slim possibility of coming true without homebrew.
