I have M3, i got M3 Sakura on it, and it is better then the rest of the flash cards really (:
DSTT, i wouldnt get that, the load times for scrolling down the list of games is annoying :|

EDGE menu is better

the "best unofficial firmware" for the acekard, akaio gets very fast updates so most games wich are blocked are working after 1-2 days.
if u like to know the real differeces between the cards look into the review selection.

the dstt is a very simple to use card, maybe usefull if u have a child. the edge has many features and so on, but it seems so that they stoped manufacturing it.

i have the supercard onei, acekard2i, r4sdhc, m3real perfect bundle, m3real sakura old (nuked), m3real sakura new and the dstt and i mainly use the acekard since i got it. but watch a few utube videos or something like that - and read the reviews or the feature lists if u really like to now what the best card is for u.

ps: the dstt has the better build quallity

yeah, patching games is a very funny thing...espessially for games where no patch exist, but that r only a few unknown games.

the build quality is the only good thing on the dstt (and its really good, the best of the flashcards i have) but its not fkn perfect okai, perfect would mean exactly as good as an official gamecardige. i only liked to say that is better than the of the edge, but the contacs of the edge card seem to be the better

choosing a flashcard by the quality of build isnt the best way to surch for an functionally flashcard but its ur choice and ur toy toy card.

EDGE:
Better for Kids
More advanced interface
More features
Better compatibility (officially, at least)
Based on Cyclo (I consider that advantageous)

The TTDS is okay (as long as you use YSMenu and 1.1a07), EDGE may be better though.

Edge has the superior build quality, ask anyone who owns both a DSTT and an Edge. Official Support is better on the Edge atm.

the build quallity of the acekard isnt as good as the from the m3real.
the m3simply ist out of race, the official firmware support stopped befor the of the original r4 and its much more expensive as the m3real (the m3simply is selled for 25$ on dealextreme).
the m3real is about 13-18$ without gba expansion, the ak2 is about 10.44$.

here is a picture of my m3reals and the ak2i in a line

(from left to right: the m3real european editon, m3real sakura old, m3real sakura new, acekard2i)

but the acekard is modified, i removed the 2 plastic stings between the contacts.

its hard to say wich team is better, both make awesome work, both made there dsi flashcards 1.4 compatible (but the acekard team was faster, i think it was the acekard team, officialy it was a chinese hacker xD) and they both are working on theyr cards

and i changend my mind, the edge card has the better quality

I use an AK2.

It just depends on how you treat the flashcart. Admittedly it isn't very sturdy but it's not like you're going to throw it around or do something stupid. SO far for me I've had no problem with it.

I agree, I have an AceKard 2i and I'm very happy with the purchase. My friend has a DSTT and when he was playing my DS the other day he commented about how he wished he got an AceKard 2 instead of the DSTT he purchased.

ive gtot all 4
the m3 zero and acekard have both got similar build quality. both are ok but not the sturdiest. try not to abuse them too hard. also the cable to update the m3 isnt that sturdy.

as for features the m3 has rts and ingameguide if that matters to u.

both have slick interfaces sakura for m3 and akaio for ak
the ak seems to have the best support and the m3 team is good too but not as quick or stable as ak

if rts or in game menu is he deal breaker for u get the m3 zero if u dont care for them then grab a ak2. also ak2 is about half the price

as for the edge or dstt both have great build quality. prob the best built cards, great for abusive kids.
the edge and dstt both simple to use

only downside i see to dstt is the ability to sort the games by name
u have to copy and paste thm into the rom folder in the order u want. if u add any new game it wont be in order.
the edge asking for enabling cheats gets anoying, i know its got a global feature u can turn off, but think most would manually perfer to select a cheat f they want it and have it off by defualt.

the edge support is ok and is based off the cyclo however they still dont got a solution for bowsers story. edge seems to be slow for updates.
the dstt is supported unoficially and works great. even has fix for bowsers story. and is half the price of a edge. the edge pricing is similar to the ak2.

for a good cheap card around $5 a dstt prob cant be beat
for a average card around $10 the ak2 is prob better buy than the edge
for cards that have rts and in game guide for over $20 theres the m3 or cyclo and a few others

u also need to know if u want or need it for the dsi if so then the edge or cyclo wont work for those.
