Homebrew What can I do with Steelhax?

Hello. I have used RPwnG to get to homebrew on my O3DS with 11.5(no cfw), then I installed Steelhax, because RPwnG was apparently unstable. Now, my problem is that most homebrew apps just freeze on a yellow screen. Is there anything i can do this? Do I need another exploit to be able to do more stuff? FBI says I need a kernal exploit. I can't install CFW currently since I don't have any DSiWare games (nor a flashcart) and neither am i gonna play with solders.
I'm sorry if I'm annoying or something, I'm kind of a noob to these things.

What version of the Homebrew Launcher are you using?

Hmmm, try updating your Homebrew Apps (Such as, redownloading the starter kit)

I redownloaded starter kit, but the apps still freeze on an yellow screen.

It's not necessarily your entrypoint, the O3DS payloads for 11.4/11.5 are just buggy in nature.

Try CHMM2. It's a really old (& slow) theme manager, but it just might do the trick...

tried that too, same result. I could try redownloading it tommorow, since the vers. from the starter kit might be outdated(don't have access to a PC rn)
